Any recommendations for OCR to tie to NetSuite?
c
For what? A/R, A/P, something else? Have used Concur. Employees seem to like it
s
I have used MineralTree for complete AP automation, their OCR capability is rock solid. Isn't there will native OCR capability in NS soon - that's what they said in the suiteworld keynote

We signed up and started to implement Tipalti. They were okay but didn't work well with our multiple subsidiaries and some of our approval processes The system seemed nice and the interface/portal was nice but in the need we didn't go through with it as it didn't end up being a good fit for our business needs

Tipalti is quite expensive among all the AP automation solution

Yes we found that as well. AvidExchange was also a good option. I liked that they were built into NetSuite instead of having a completely separate portal to do everything in Again we had some issues with our approval workflow but other than that they seemed like a good option

We are also multi sub with approvals needed. This would be for AP. We do use concur for expenses but this would be more for operational expenses, things we receive an invoice for vs paying out of pocket.
I can't sell our finance team on a safe harbor statement. I was asked to look into the "AP automation" touted at SW but there is nothing really ready yet from my research

For AP AvidExchange was nice but you had to login to their portal and “release” the invoice then it would come into NetSuite and you would have to “release” it again to actually make the Vendor Bill transaction For tipalti it was similar but after the first “release” in Tipalti it would make the vendor bill in NetSuite The biggest issue we had was we wanted the GL Impact to post even when the approval process was not complete but just put a payment hold on the Bill until approved Neither system could support this. They could only wait to post the entire bill until it was fully approved
