This is a good one: Our internal audit said that PWC said that there is way to include the search parameters (criteria/results) of a search when the scheduled email is sent out. Anyone involved with a SOX audit knows that the auditors want the screenshots of everything. Here's my guess, someone was half right along the way: On the subtab: EMAIL --> Customized Message > They have added something here to the body of the message; could it be as simple as adding in the search criteria and results in the body of the schedule email OR is it some HTML code that pulls in the parameters of the search into the body of the email?

There is no “hocus pocus” code that can bring in the search criteria into the customized email sent from a saved search. The highlighted yellow part on your screen shot applies only to single-record results and that dropdown for inserting fields is for specifying what fields a single record result will send as part of the scheduled email.

Thanks @Eric B much appreciated.

@Brian Raley I work at Strongpoint and we are able to turn the results of saved searches into auditable logs that makes it much simpler to satisfy these types of auditors' requests. https://www.strongpoint.io/netsuite-master-data-financial-controls

Thanks @Liam Gainey that was not my question. We have all of these controls and reviews in place, I made my own custom record / user notes. The question was: Is there a way to put the search criteria on the alert email sent out. Each search has a set criteria, we screenshot and send to auditors from time to time. The auditors have asked if we can build <HTML code> into the Introduction or Single Record Results the search criteria set on the search? Let me know if you have an answer or idea on that. Thanks again for the interest.

I understand now, and I don't believe that's possible. Is the goal to show PWC what's being searched for in the same screenshot as the results you're showing? Strongpoint could get you to that end state, but not in the way you're doing it now. I can probably give you a short video to illustrate

@Brian Raley you can use the Search Export chrome extension to copy the criteria for evidence but you can’t include it in the custom message box.

Gotcha. That sounds like a bit of a pain. I just did a screen record that shows another way to accomplish the same thing for auditors, but you need Strongpoint for it to work. Might be of interest for next year. https://us06web.zoom.us/rec/share/QzEjF7hs3QEOx6NmvDYX1nFKYvPmQUv4pJw9ElENR-uy_mYvJtsHXkrfAMet6LWW.wo3Ho5bKp6xzMRuq?startTime=1639511668000

Thanks @Eric B I'm going to do this, there's a couple of reports that go to our auditors and this should suffice. When they bring a screenshot of what their other company is doing then I will adjust.
@Liam Gainey thanks for the strongpoint info. I have all of these alert searches already created in NS. As an admin I do not do any processing or creation of transactions. And if auditors thing otherwise, they are welcome to look. Thanks, B

That's the way it should be, sounds like you're in great shape

I did discuss StrongPoint with controller today, I will keep your contact. Thanks
