I'm trying to get the breakdown of the total inventory asset value as to material costs, freight and duty. We are using the Landed Cost Templates. Freight is per quantity while duty is a % of inventory value. Our costing method is average. Has anyone tried this? To simplify the calculation, I'm trying to multiply the total quantity on hand by the freight per unit based on the LCT to get the total freight component. However, for the duty component since it's based on value, I have to do this: (Total Inventory Value per item record - Freight Component/(100+cost factor)/100)*cost factor/100 My problem is I cannot deduct the calculated freight component in a saved search.
