Does anyone have a solution to be able to track drop ship inventory qty available within NetSuite?

by the nature of drop ship inventory you don’t have the numbers. Is there a bigger business process you could provide details on?

I’ve never seen that done. I’ve done similar solutions with owned inventory at a vendors facility. The accounting is different but both would require a few work arounds to ensure proper fulfillment on both ends.

That’s what I’ve explained, appreciate your input. I have suggested if necessary a custom field could be added that is updated on X schedule but it would not be tied to transactions and could vary drastically if the vendor were to receive a large volume of orders.

at a base level it is a location to represent the vendor and then inventory items with no cost associated so there is no impact to your financials. You would need inventory adjustments to move the numbers in and out.
