We have several items that are basically dynamic assemblies...meaning that each assembly has a couple standard items and several customer chosen variables. For example: a poker chip set has its case (that holds 1000 chips) as a standard item but the customer can choose any number of each denomination of poker chip as long as the total equals 1000. Does anyone know if there is some type of item (or any other thoughts) that would allow us to dynamically choose which components are sold and how many of each?

what if you add all these items as separate objects in the invoice?

I don't personally think that makes much sense as a consumer; you are buying a custom built single thing, not all the components individually
