Hello, what is the purpose of Attaching Contacts to say Sales Orders? Is there a standard NS functionality to automatically email all contacts attached to a transaction?

Nope. far as I know the only value is CRM/history (ie who was the contact for this order when I need to follow up in 3 weeks)
