I have this field on assembly items. I would like to have this show up in my transaction item field on workorders. When i try to modify the transaction line field on the work order with customize form, the phantom value does not show up, and im not able to check it. But i can see all the other default values that are available: This makes me think that the phantom value is not checked to be applied on transactions, is it possible to do this? Or do i have to make a custom transaction line field, and then apply it that way?

This field is meant to control the Item Source field in the component list (or BOM) of other assemblies So for example if you check phantom on Item A. Then you use Item A as a component of Assembly B the item source for Item A will be phantom in the BOM for Assembly B The Item Source field then copies to the item source in the work order

The item source field is a native NetSuite field and should already be on the work order. It might say Stock for most of the components but the ones set to phantom should say phantom Also you could add a custom line field sourced from the item but it would be duplicative

yes i know, but the problem is that it only shows PHANTOM at the top of the hierarchy of the items, which is our problem

And you want all sub assemblies or lower assemblies to be phantom?
