For an Income Statement/Balance sheet, I want Monthly columns, I've been able to do it with a relative date, but it doesn't work if I change the dates below the report. Anyone know/has done a month by month view, while being able to select the dates below.

For balance sheet, a columns-by-period doesn't really make sense it's a balance as-of a certain period. So you'd have to be more specific about how you're wanting to present that data and probably do some more hefty customization depending on what you want.
