I was wondering if it is possible to figure out, sandbox refresh date from the Sandbox itself ? Directly or indirectly, like something is reset or created new when a new sandbox is refreshed. ?
k
No, but you can see it on your sandbox details in production
t
Yeah, I know, but I don't have access to production.
Thanks for confirming Kevin!
c
The login audit trail gets wiped, so the first login will give you a good indication

k
well, all your system notes do too
but it's an inexact science
t
Yeah, it is. I have got the screenshot from production, This SB2 is newly provisioned. Last refresh complete date and last refresh date matches which makes sense to me, as this is newly provisioned sandbox. But it takes refresh activated date and production snapshot date to 2 year back, which is something weird to me. The account has all transactions for 9th AUG 2021
What are your thoughts on this @KevinJ of Kansas and @CD?
c
If it's a brand new sandbox that has not had a real refresh, then I wouldn't expect those fields to have proper data in. They're probably the dates your production instance was built, or similar
t
But its refreshed, I can see the data over here. and please see the last refresh date.
c
Sorry, thought you said it was newly provisioned? So I assumed it hadn't been refreshed & just had its initial NetSuite initiated refresh
k
Eh, that looks like a call to NS, the statistics don't make a ton of sense. Last refresh completed 4 hours before the last refresh requested with a date activated 2 years ago? Naw. something screwy.
t
Yeah that may be, @CD. I didn't actually notice time, focused on date, probably I am selectively blind, but this is truly weird.
