Hello Y'all! does anybody know if it is possible to display the name of the user that created a record (under List). For exemple Sales Order records list -> display an additional column showing the name of the user who created that sale order

Does “created by” show up a result value?
If not, you can create a custom field and set the default value to current user. Now you will have the created by value.

Ho yes, I see what you mean, you can customize the view. Yes that worked. But In filter, if I select the name of Employee, for some reason the list is empty even though that employee created records.
Also Created by does not exist for Cases List.🤷‍♂️
r
you need to set the filter to “Created By”

Because cases can be created by an email there might not be a user associated. You could create the custom field and test it out.

oh I've done that before but with a tutorial, so just following steps for a very specific task. I'll try. Thank you for you help!

SuiteAnswers article 29910 covers this exact topic

That looks good, but you would loose the ability to have Case Created by User A, assigned to USER C i guess

I just did this last week. You use a custom saved search and then use it to create a custom sublist.
So the search Criteria: mainline= True. Results: Date, Subsidiary, type, Created by, Document Number, Satus, Amount. Available filter = Created by. Save and then create a new sublist. Tab = Related Records, choose transactions to display. Save…..done!

All good now. I've created a Custom CRM Field to the Case record and then a Custom view search for Case list. I've learned a lot, this is really useful. Thank you Michael and Rebecca!
