Does anyone know if its possible for contacts to be populated when creating opportunities through csv? When manually creating opportunities it populates the contacts associated to the customer however when we create them by importing them in via CSV the contacts are blank. Not sure if there is a way around this. Any help is greatly appreciated! 🙂

Do you mean that after you create the opportunity via CSV, the contact drop-down list on the transaction is empty. Or are you expecting that the contact field will be selected/filled by the CSV import itself?

For our opportunities once the customer is populated under the relationships subtab any associated contacts should populate and do so when we are manually creating an opportunity. However when are creating opportunities via CSV the associated contacts are not appearing - I have tried editing it and saving once it was created to see if that would kick in a workflow or suitescript to fetch the associated contacts but no luck

I can only think of two things. 1) make sure scripts and workflows are enabled when importing the opportunities. 2) maybe it's a custom field that only works when creating the opportunity via the ui?

Thanks I had given that a go when importing but no luck and it seems to be a default field so not sure what is going on. I will keep looking. Thanks for the help!
