Is there some Setup setting that i can adjust to truncate long floating point values that are being shown in some record's field values?

When I had this I applied a formula in the custom field setup. Where is the field value coming from? Do you sometimes need the full precision?

this appears on a variety of default netsuite fields from item quantities to prices
