Do you not want to use a Sales Order? An SO would provide demand but won’t allow fulfillment if no qty is available

good question. I will go over this with the team. the problem is we usually don't keep back orders and this would be an exception to that

@JBL how about Unapproved Sales Orders, you could have a new Christmas Order tick box and use that to exclude from your regular order review queues as well as reporting. Last Friday it was exactly 6 months to Christmas.
