Could someone explain to me when NetSuite has a big release or an update, any custom script we have, do we need to make changes to all of these? I'm just confused which type of script would need amending? #C29HQS63G #C2A1ZEMF0

Release notes get provided weeks or months in advance. You need to read these to assess whether there's likely to be any impact. You can request a Release Preview account, which is a test copy of your production account with the update applied, so you can test specific concerns, or just do a general QA audit. As a general rule, you shouldn't have to update most scripts. It's only when deprecated functions are eventually removed that you need to make changes, which doesn't happen a great deal.

New additions to impacted areas sometimes require script edits as well
Though again - this is infrequent.
Most changes that are forced to occur recently were around version improvements/modifications to SS 2.0 - and those should be pretty explicitly spelled out so that you can make the appropriate update
That's not to say that sometimes NS doesn't do things smartly from time to time -there was a database update a while back related to the
English UK
language, that resulted in some pretty hefty issues shortly before a release
Probably still a good idea to test your stuff in the release preview
