Anyone know how to get inventory detail option for non-lot controlled inventory items on a work order? I can’t get non-lot controlled inventory to show on WMS when going to pick WOs…thinking this could be why…

Inventory Detail becomes present when you utilize bins, inventory status, or serialization/lot control. In your case, it looks like the item isn't bin controlled. I'm not a WMS person though so not sure what the root cause of the issue would be.

Hey Rich thank you for the reply. Interesting. we do use bins and inventory status’ for all of our items, including everything here in the photo. its just some are lot controlled while others aren’t. might be a bug then that I need to sort out with NetSuite Support

@Casey L Inventory detail is just for the lot controlled inventory. It is where you enter the Lot/serial number of the item, if i am not mistaken. If you have non-lot controlled inventory, the detail will not appear..

@GeneralKenobi Thank you for the reply. that makes sense. Would you happen to know why WMS would only prompt me to pick the lot controlled items on the WO? those other non-lot controlled items are still bin controlled…

Not sure on that one, my assumption would be it if they are bin controlled they should still show up for picking, but I am not familiar enough with the WMS to know if that i s the expected behavior
