Hi All, i am encountering one issue .

I am having custom transaction with XYZ account debit with same amount and credit with same amount in same record. when i try to open the General ledger of this account , it is not showing, may i know the reason for it?

What type of Custom Transaction? Basic, Journal, Header, Purchase, Sales?

Open your Custom Transaction type and check the Statues tab. With a Custom Journal Type, not all statuses are posting transactions and it might not show the GL impact until it becomes a posting transaction.

But, it also could be that there is no actual GL impact - for example if you're debiting and crediting the same account.

*Trans 1 :*
Account Debit Credit
XYZ         100
ABC                    100

*Trans 2 :*
Account Debit Credit
XYZ         100
XYZ                    100

Here first transactions (Trans 1) getting appear with 100 in the ledger account but trans 2 is not appearing at all since its  credit and debit matches

but normally , it should the impact , right?
is this Netsuite standard behaviour.

I'm fairly certain that is standard behavior since the transaction is not actually impacting anything on the GL. I think it would be similar to a zero invoice where it wouldn't show GL impact for A/R.
