We have advanced bins enabled but we realized that it just slows down our fulfilment process. Not being able to define it at SO level, kinda sucks. We're planning to turn it off but with plans to turn it on in the future once we figure out a way to use it that won't delay the fulfilment process. However, we noticed that if we turn it off then turn it on later on, the bin on hand prior to turning it off gets stuck in there even though there's literally no inventory on hand anymore. We are using FIFO costing and transferring it from the bin to a no bin would most likely mess up our FIFO costing layers? Does anyone know how to best handle this, so that our bins would be wiped out prior to turning it off while not messing up our FIFO costing layers?

I have had lots of experience with this. it is a pain - as the bin record remains with the qty of xx as of the moment you turned it off.
So when you turn it back on - you have to work out the movement. You turn on bins, do an inventory adjustment, for the qty, then you turn off bins, to do the opposite, and then \turn it back on
when i have more time, i will explain some more

That's a lot to do. Wow. Do you have a recommendations on how to best fix this before we actually turn it off? Thank you.
