I've recently started getting global search results that include record types that explicitly have the
Include in Global Search
box unchecked. Has anyone else noticed this? I have no idea how to troubleshoot this and am dreading the inevitable NetSuite support case that I'll likely have to file, so it'd be good to know if this is isolated to our account or if others have been affected too.

Are they custom record types? If you edit the custom record, there is a checkbox for 'Include in Global Search'. Maybe you have to change the preference directly on the set up for the record instead.

@Chloë Thanks for your thoughts. They are indeed custom records (including some from 3rd party bundles) and they all already have that box checked on the record setup. All of them are record types that we've had for a while - many years in most cases - but only started showing up in global searches within the past few weeks despite no edits being made to the record setup in that timeframe. It's very odd, but I'm guessing not widespread based on the fact that I haven't seen anyone else talking about it here.
