i have a fleet of 2010 imacs that are EOL that I want to move to chromebooks (or whatever desktop equivalent I can find). being all web-based i can’t imagine there being a problem with them?

only concern I would have is extracting reports and reformatting. I've struggled with using google sheets for that in the past

yeah i guess if you are doing excel-specific things it could be a problem

We've got around 20 chrombooks/Chromeboxes all manged using Chrome Device Management and it works quite well for us. We only have one small windows machine that has papercut installed on it acting as a print server for our Chrome devices. But everything else can be done purely using Chromebooks

my only thought otherwise is that the new imacs in base config came in surprisingly cheap and it’s also surprisingly how quickly a chromebook + display + keyboard/mouse gets up
