Does anyone know why the 'Credit Memo/Note' subtab wouldn't be showing upon editing a customer payment?

because it's not part of the customer payment once it has been applied

NS is doing a bit of magic to get it to show up in the first place.

Applications are between transactions directly.

Ah okay. I apologize for my lack of knowledge within this area - we had a request in from someone in the business to help allocate credit notes to a payment posted to a customer's account. Just trying to make sense of it

SuiteAnswer (ID: 9108) - seems you _should_ be able to edit a payment and apply a credit memo but I'm not seeing the subtab.
