We send invoices to customers with multiple projects. The main recipient and the copied may vary per project although they are associated with the same customer.
It is convenient to refer to our cheat sheet during sending of email invoices.
The observed behavior of the contacts are as follows:
1. They can be associated with a project using the Company field. This is helpful since when sending the emails the Additional Recipient field shows the Customer : Project : Contact, so we can just search for the project then we can see which contact to add.
2. However, if the same contact is associated with multiple projects, only the one indicated in the Company field appears in the Additional Recipients field which makes no. 1 ineffective.
Last resort is to use the workflow and script but we want to try to avoid this as much as possible.
