So I selected show for this field on the SO form but it is not showing at all. Anyone know what's going on with this? Sometimes we have multiple ship dates on an SO.

One possibility is that the SO you are looking at is saved with a form that doesn't have that field showing

My thoughts too. Make sure the you are customizing the same form that you are using. perhaps look and see how many SO forms you have and show the filed on all of them.
