These are standard choices unfortunately and some reports may have more or less choices. Can't add new columns/dimensions via standard way. Maybe a Saved Search would be better?

@Mars you can only pivot using the financial segments (maybe a custom segment would help?). As for search/workbooks, you can’t build an income statement with them. Maybe add your custom field as a result column, and pivot in Excel?

Custom segments can be an option although it won't be available in all reports like the Budget vs. Actual. I would try Workbooks first no harm in creating one since it doesn't alter the data.
