Are there any Customer Center experts out there? We have encountered an issue, we have an Account rep who has access to multiple customers via the Customer Center, when they go to look at a Sales order for one customer they are unable to view it, just says transaction is not available, but when they look at a second customer and a different sales order, they are able to view it, same role, same access. The only difference I can see is in the Sales Orders, they are both in Pending Fulfillment but one is being fulfilled out of our warehouse directly, while the other is being fulfilled via dropship (factory directly to customer). The only other variable is we did just upgrade to 2023.1 and that is coinciding with this issue.

@Todd Juenemann Do you have multi-subsidiaries or multiple location? There could be a restriction from that side of things to view an order.
t
No, just one subsidiary, it looks like its tied to Suite Promotions feature that we enabled, as sales orders before that activation are still visible, but anything created after that is not.
m
Ah, I believe there is a promotion permission that needs to be set on the customer center role.

I added the 2 Custom permissions I could find for Promotions, Promotions Feed and Linked Promotions, neither resolved the issue. Not sure what other permissions would be needed. They do have Sales Order - Edit permissions, which is the highest level.

Hmm, not sure from there. Now that I think of it, how is it the account rep can see different customer so's in the customer center?

I am not sure exactly how it was set up, as someone else set it up. But I am 99% sure that is not part of the issue, as I turned off Suite Promotions in our SBX and was able to log in to Customer Center as this rep and was able to view sales orders again. Looking through SuiteIdeas to see if there is anything out there to vote on, we need to have Netsuite fix this issue.

Yeah, I was just curious as that is a unique setup. I found a post for someone with the same issue from two years ago. Doesn't look like they had any results either. There must be an underlying permission/compatibility issue, a bug that hasn't been addressed yet. I did find a permission called just promotion under Lists when looking at a regular role. Unfortunately, the customer center role is locked to what permissions it has and no new ones can be added.

Saw that article, that is what lead me the Suite Promotions path.
