Is there a way to publish/copy a dashboard from an admin role to another role of mine (e.g., Controller)?

When Dashboard are published the Center Type has to be the same. Check that Controller is a Classic Center.

Checking the Use Classic Interface on the Set Preferences would not fix it, right?

I haven't tried that.
