how can I stop updating email from support case to customer record. When new email address is filled and case assigned to the customer, the new email address is updated into customer record if the customer email is blank. Is there any way to stop this. thank you

@george085 I don't think you can turn it off. • Create a custom email field to capture the email and hide the standard field, or you make it inline. • You might be able to script or write a workflow that would reverse the field sourcing, but I wouldn't recommend it.

thanks @Josh Godfrey . it is not recorded in any context in User Event Script. Thought there would be some native feature to turn it off. Not sure how to do your first option. How to change Email Field to capture the email? thanks
