Hi, Is there a way to split a single asset(quantity 10 and an asset that is already in use) into multiple assets? If yes please let me know. I know we can split new assets when proposing a new asset, but I am looking for splitting an existing asset. Thanks in advance for your help!

You should be able to split from the Asset Split page (Fixed Assets > Transactions > Asset Split) provided the asset isn't fully depreciated and the quantity is greater than 1

Thanks for your response. I want to split it at one short. Example: an asset that has 10 quantity should be split into 9 assets equally and at one short. If i follow the standard split process then i have to repeat the process 9 times. My finance team is not ready to do that. Thanks
