Hi! In a saved search, I want to use a multiselect custom field as an available filter. However, I cannot check it as “Show in filter region”. Does anybody know why and/or how to get to check it?

I guess that you’re referring me to SuiteAnswers answer id 70852 (link). But I am not asking the same thing: I don’t want to use a multiselect as criteria, but as an available filter to filter further the results afterwards. Thanks for the suggestion, in any case!

I've run into this before as well. See SA 70845. "Currently, there is a system limitation which does not allow one to use custom fields of type Multiple Select as an available filter by marking the checkbox Show in Filter Region for saved search results."

Thanks @RL! I was afraid that this was the case. I guess it’s the same with text areas, right?

Hmm ... not certain I've tried a Text Area (vs FreeForm text). That may work. Just remember Users will likely need to use the wildcard character % in their search strings to help find what they are looking for.

@Isis Herrero 70852 is the workaround to get what you want.
