(If i use the "close-button" the PO will disappear from the queue for invoice-matching so it is not an option)
(The only way is to manually change the quantity on the PO line ?)

02/23/2021, 3:05 PMYou've got the options right. You can close it once it has been billed, or you can edit the quantity down.

02/23/2021, 3:06 PMKind of six of one, half dozen of the other options - you want to know that the PO is done being received - and you don't want to lose that information regarding failed deliveries - normally I accommodate for that by adding a custom field for "failed to deliver quantity" or something like that - and then when editing the quantity down on the PO - they fill out that column.

02/23/2021, 3:56 PMIt's not ideal but to retain the quantity ordered without losing the shorts we have the users edit the line that was received for the quantity received then insert a line above for the same item with a quantity of the difference then immediately mark that difference line as closed.

02/23/2021, 5:17 PMyou can also add a memo field, so you can actually write the reason why you didn't receive the full quantity.
