how can I display multiple custom record dropdown lists on a customer record so it looks like the opportunity tab - i.e. where it shows a view, I can select between the multiple custom records... like the screenshot? or something similar without using a script

Create a new search for the data you want with the customer as a filter. Then add the new search as a custom sublist and assign it into the customer record.
