How to create invoice in NetSuite using rest API

I am unsure if the REST API. allows for that yet since it is still in BETA for many of the features. We have found that it isn’t quite ready for prime time yet for transforms and non-read functionality. Even some of the get record actions don’t provide all the necessary data. We have had to go back to SOAP as a result. Hoping for good changes with 2021.1!
