Attempting to recieve a purchase order item by generating an item receipt, but the items arent available on the item receipt. Any ideas?
t

n

t
And when you hit receive it's completely empty?
n
This is what happens on the item receipt:

Weird, the only thing I can think to try is changing the date on the PO, maybe it's in a closed accounting period? It's not set up as a drop ship? Does it show up if you try a different form?
n
Different form does nto work
not*
Also tried changing the date on the PO but no luck

item itself is not marked as DSI
m
Is the Item a non-inventory item? Is it marked as Can be fulfilled/received on the preferences tab?
Is the item INactive now?
n
Confirmed item is not inactive.
I cannot confirm the other two as the preferences tab isnt even showing (Although its set to show via custom form)
m
What is your Item Type
n
Matrix subitem
m
Look at the Matrix parent
Maybe the preferences are controled from the parent
n
message has been deleted
only options in the parent
m
do you have a location or preffered location set on the parent or child item?
is the subsidiary set on the child item match the subsidiary of the location you are trying to recieve into?
n
Subsidiary does match, This is the subitem locations configuration
m
Now I'm stumped...might be time to submit a support case...sorry😭
n
We recently turned off using bins for items as that is being handled by shiphawk, do you think that may cause this issue
m
It shouldn't...I've toggled Use Bins on items many times and it doesn't seem to effect much other than the inventory detail on transactions
n
Are there any workarounds I can do in the meantime
t
Inventory adjust the item up ?
n
Or maybe its something to do with the location we are receiving on?
t
Is there a workflow that is setting the default receiving location?
n
Nothing to note for the workflows
m
Is the location still marked as a warehouse site?
n
The location is a sublocation of the parent:
Usually items are received to the WECHO receiving location, then moved to FLOOR

Your Close button is disabled then I guess you're using the Inbound Shipment feature which requires you to receive POs from there. That's exactly what's happening with us using the Inbound Shipment feature.
If so, you may want to expose the Quantity in Transit column because it's very helpful for us. It shows the quantity in transit and a link to the related inbound shipment and ownership transfer, if any.
