When creating an asset, through an asset proposal and then generate it from manage asset proposal, is there any way that the process does not create depreciation schedules for ALL assets? I believe it does this, since the processing takes a very very long time.

By all assets do you mean including those that are already generated/created? Also why wouldn't you want to generate depreciation schedules for some assets?

Correct, all existing ones. I would like to do it only like once a month, since it took like 24 hour the last time. But I would like to be able to pinpoint more exactly the new ones when they are generated and do a monthly depreciation schedule creation where it can run as long as it needs.

Ok now I get your concern I've never waited THAT long. Although I don't think there's a setting for that in the FA system setup. I always thought it generated schedules only for the one's you're generating but if it's that long then maybe it does scan everything.
