Is it possible to manage Sales Order *commitment* using SuiteScript?

Yeah. Change the "commit" column to do not commit, commit available, or commit complete (or whatever that logic was) at the line level.

I have a client who I have ancillarily touched that has a process in place doing this with a scheduled script.

Actually I want to replicate the Reallocate Items page behavior. So if I have 2 orders requesting for 20 units of a certain item, 10 units each on each order, but I only have 10 items available, I want to be able to set the commitment by suitescript

Why not just use the reallocate items page?
