Hi . anyone knows how to set an INACTIVE employee value in a custom record or native NS record . without active this employee again?

You can't do a record load on the inactivated employee record?

I can read inactive employee record. but i can not SAVE a record associated with inactive employee. I am looking for some sort of work around.

general rule of scripting is that scripts wont let you do something you cant do in the ui
