Hello all, Interested in what others regard as an "acceptable" load time for Netsuite pages - particularly customer pages. Getting pressured internally that it is too slow, but not sure if our load speec is actually just "normal"

I'd guess around 2 - 3 is average. Over 3 seconds I'd start to wonder what all is running on that record. What do you see as the breakdown if you double click the NetSuite logo in the upper left after loading a Customer?
j
Looks at the APM bundle to review what is taking how long
also look into various scripts running on the record
d
Also check your monthly transaction line count in Setup > Company > View billing information. If you're over 200k per month, you may be moving too much data for the standard shared database infrastructure.
k
It also depends on what you are doing when you load a customer record
if you have a script doing something - complex - it might be valid for it to take longer.

Side note - SuiteTax (with the NS Bundles) REALLY slow down the loading of customers/vendors.

Thanks, ok ours would always be more than 3 seconds, so it looks like its time for some investigation! The performance load screen shows normally it is the Server that is slow or it is the Client

Might be worth to open a support case with NS, they will probably redirect you to a bunch of links in Help Center, but they will probably give you an explanation on how to use the APM bundle so you can get a better idea of what's going on

Netsuite is saying that 5 seconds just for the server time is acceptable - and when they are recording instances above that they just say its our issue still due to Cache Flush and *Server Caching...*firstly, would most ppl be experience 5 seconds just for the server part of loading a page? and secondly excuse my ignorance, but is there anyhting i can do to fix Cache Flush and Server Caching
k
I also experience these performance issues and internally colleagues are not happy. Average view vendor bill is 5.37 seconds and server is mostly around 80-90% of the load time. I have done a lot of investigations together with support but according to them our environment is acceptable according to standards.
We also have an inconsistent performance, opening one bill can take 2 seconds, while the next one (if you are approving multiple bills) can take 10 seconds, which I find strange.
k
5 seconds is not something I'm losing any sleep over.
Just teach people to use multiple tabs if they have a repetitive task they have to deal with.
