Is it possible to have one sku stored in different units? We want to be able to store it in both cases quantities and eaches depending on the location. Thanks!

if one case was 12 each, you could make a new unit of measure something like this.  But you would be able to see the 'cases' for every SKU that you assigned that UOM to.

Also IIRC you can only assign UOM to an item when you are creating it for the first time

Thanks! Would I then be able to to assign the stock unit by location, or is that only done at the item record level?

I'm not sure you can change the primary stock unit per location, but you can change the stock unit on different transactions to fit your needs

I would suggest creating a few test UOMs / item scenarios in sandbox to figure everything out

Look at SA 28117, if you want non monetary data, this might be helpful
