Hi all, we are trying to understand if updating the initial number for the document number of a transaction - (under setup -> company -> Auto-Generated Numbers) - does that kick in immediately or does it take full day to take the new initial number?

Ok, got it ...we saw that it only starts taking the new initial number only up to a certain character limit (17 characters) and also you need to make sure that the Override checkbox is unchecked for the transaction...if you keep the override as checked (like in our case) then even if you update with the supported new initial number, then the new initial number does not kick in immediately
