Does anyone know of an easy way to create a saved search for duplicate emails on employee records, i am looking only to return the duplicates, and havent quite figured a way to show just those records
k
why can't you just run a saved search of employees download to excel and then highlight duplicates?
What's the benefit to having it in NS?
There is a way to do it - but you'll have a hard time making it useful.
(meaning no direct link to the employee from the search - you'll have to drill down into results to see offending employees)

so the reason is, i am trying to setup an alert or a reminder on the search so our accounting team can catch them as they occur, I would be fine with a drill down option, just need a way to capture them in the search
k
use summary criteria
Count of internal ID greater than 1
Search Results: Email (grouped)
Search Results: Internal ID (count)
That said - I don't expect the alert to work.
Since it doesn't inherently apply to one record. Instead - you could probably script a search when the record is saved to see if any other employee records have the same email address.
It would only work as a reminder - not as an alert.
