We have a long standing issue of missing fields on an import. Support have shrugged their shoulders and said 'i dunno' and the account manager say stuff that doesn't even make sense 'it's an enhancement' 'netsuite aren't doing releases right now' all incoherent stuff.

Did you ask them for the enhancement # ?

It isn't really an enhancement, it's a standard feature (as confirmed by support on their test acc)

What's the actual issue, out of interest? Wanting to CSV fields that aren't on any form or something?

Basically, on our account we use vendor level tax registrations (this governs whether they are taxable by jurisdiction) we just want to be able to set the sublist columns and the default tax reg field on the import. Otherwise we have to go into our vendor records (hundreds of them) and to this manually.

For 'some' reason the columns required are missing on just our account. Both on Vendor record type, and also vendor-subsidiary record type (import)

Eh. Pick your battles. That one probably is just worth slogging it out one night while watching netflix or something.
