Is it possible to view the balance sheet by periods on a cumulative basis? On top of that, it should give us the flexibility to select the periods we want to view. I can select the periods I want to show but the first period selected is not cumulative. Only the subsequent periods are. For example: I have AR of 5k every month starting January 2020. If I try to select June to August and view the report by Accounting Period, the output is: June 5k July 10k August 15k Expected output is: June 30k July 35k August 40k

When you add an additional Amount column to the report, you can then also get an additional tick box when you add "Alternate Period Range Type ". The field help for

says Check this box to include all transactions posted through the end of the range selected in the Alternate Date/Period Range list. Clear this box to include only transactions matching the range selected in the Alternate Date/Period Range list.

Yup. But the options are limited. It doesn't give me the flexibility to select any start period and end period.

Periods would be for you to “filter” for the period range you want.

None of the options give me the flexibility to select any periods I want. It's limited to quarter, year, etc.
