Save the file somewhere and put link to file instead? I don't think you can really get around the size limit.

If its not sensitive, like a news letter, you can make the file available without login and include a link to the file

Yes, this is native. Its on the file record itself in netsuite. You click edit -> check "Available Without Login" and then the link to the file will work without login.
