Hello, is it possible on a sales order to switch the tax codes on a line from the United States to Canada? I updated the bill-to and ship-to addresses for the customer and it is still not allowing me to select our canadian tax codes. Thank you
l
Ours change only when we change the Subsidiary from a US one to a Canadian one or vice versa.

@Phillip Are you changing the Customer's subsidiary or just their Address? I think the displayed Tax Codes depend upon the loaded Nexus of the transaction.
p
The address is Canadian but it is still showing the US tax codes.
I now get the error his shipping address change is not allowed for existing transactions because this shipping address requires a new tax form. Is it possible to setup a code when a Canadian address is selected as a ship-to instead of a US address for that same customer?

@Phillip When you get the new tax form error, then you need to create a new order. Netsuite won't let you change the tax form on an existing order. I think I've been able to copy one before, change the ship to, and then save. It should update to Canada taxes if they are setup for that country.
@Phillip we have the same issue with Netherlands/US. Our records are imported, so we have to make sure the default shipping on the customer is the right address or else it saves with the wrong taxes and we have to create another order.

thanks. I figured out we needed to put the two digit province code for our canadian customers which fixed the issue.

Nice maybe this will fix our issues!
