Hey there, I have a legal / practical counseling advice to ask: Your netsuite external developer pushes an outdated bundle without any notice on your production environment. What are your options ? (is there a way to retrieve the old modified bundle ? shall you press charges ?)

My 1st question is did they take a backup prior to pushing the bundle. 2nd question would be if Sandbox has the right bundle. If so, it may be pretty painless to get stuff back. If not, then you're most likely out of luck for the contents within the bundle. Any other non-bundle customization shouldn't have been touched with the bundle upgrade. You'd have to talk to the consultant and see the what/why they changed and go from there.

This depends, if it is a managed bundle, then you elected to allow them to make updates without your approval, that is how managed bundles work. Most likely you could try to ask them to push the old version back (assuming they still have the codebase/objects)

They said the bundle was modified @Sandii so pushing an old one probably wont help.

Right, if it isnt an SDF bundle, then slim to none chances of getting the exact old version.

Can't you just go find the developer and beat him/her up?

We’ll get rid of them very soon ! Not the first problem we had with them, unfortunately...
