SuiteCommerce 2023.1 has been released and will be available to your accounts depending on your release schedule. There are three big changes: 1. ACH is now available as a payment option in the checkout (this was previously only available in My Account for invoice payments) 2. More GA4 events are now supported, including wishlist, add to cart, view items, product click, transaction and view cart 3. New commands and options have been added to the theme and developer tools so that it is now possible to reactivate extensions and themes from the CLI, including ones you’ve just deployed If available to your account, you can read release notes here: https://system.netsuite.com/app/help/helpcenter.nl?fid=section_66155102921.html

We listened to you! At SuiteWorld 22 we heard developers talk about CI on SC/SCA development process and wanting to avoid to login to NetSuite UI in order to finish the deploy/publishing process. In this release we enhanced the developer tools to support new gulp commands that trigger the reactivation of extension and themes of your website from your CLI.

One major feature one of my customers has been waiting on is an enhancement to the PCV. There is no option for Hide and Purchase. If I remember correctly they are trying to enable reorder for items not sold via SC but only via the ERP. I think it is either not supported or throws an error
s
Sorry, I don’t follow. Could you describe in more detail what they want?
t
In some cases items that they are not able to purchase online because of PCV (e.g Hide Fully) are purchaseble in the NetSuite ERP application. This is logical because PCV is an SCA rule and not an ERP so if someone sold them that product the customer is not able to reorder it online later. The item is always set to Display In Website but just doesn't happen to be in the customer segment/item collection for some customers.
The issue is the reorder function is not available in that use case. This affects a large volume of the customer's transactions.
It seems like the PCV rules (e.g. Hide Fully) is also enforced at the Add Item api level so completely blocked from reords
s
That should be configurable with PCV
There’s a synthetic field called something Items Ordered
t
well at the same time
they don't want it to show in the catalog
s
So you can add an exception for users who have that item in Items Ordered
🤔 1
OK, so don’t show the item when they browse the site but do let them reorder it? Yeah, that’s too specific
t
but couldn't you see this use case since PCV is enforced on SCA only? So the rules may be different in the erp
s
Although I’m kinda surprised it is enforced in SCA, I didn’t think PCV applied to Re-Order Items as it uses slightly different tech
Well, like I said, the use case is that PCV allows for exceptions for items the user has already previously ordered. You’re saying that the mechanism isn’t specific enough
Right?
As for ERP parity, I mean if you generate a saved search for use in an item collection of “The Only Things Texmc Is Allowed To Buy” and you use that in your PCV, there’s no reason why reps using the NetSuite UI can’t also use the same saved search. It’s probably a little awkward when putting together the estimate or sales order because you can’t plug that list directly into the Item fields, but you could certainly have it open in another tab
Could probably write a script that checks items in a sales order against items in that list and flag up discrepancies

I can see the Bundle for SuiteCommerce 2023.1.0 is available in our account. Does anyone know when SuiteCommerce Advanced 2023.1.0 bundle will be available in the UK?
f
it is available already
if you are not seeing it as available to be installed on your account that may be an issue
g
do you know the bundle ID?
I can try searching for this instead of just "SuiteCommerce Advanced"
