11/12/2020, 5:45 PMHey guys! I have a question about a new center tab. I created a new one because the client wanted more than just 6 searches on it. So we couldn't do it on their dashboard. So when I created a new one I was able to add all of the searches and KPI's they wanted. But, when they are on their account, and click on the tab it just shows a bunch of empty search & KPI containers.
We would like for everyone to see all the same stuff when they click on that tab. Is there a way to do this? Or do we have to manually set up each users.

11/12/2020, 5:45 PMDid you publish that new dashboard? You'll need to publish that dashboard for the other user to see what you added.

11/12/2020, 5:47 PMYou'll need to make sure to also publish the dashboard from the new tab you just created for the roles you need to add the dashboard to.

11/12/2020, 5:51 PMI added the settings menu on that tab. Hoping it would give me an option of publish. Doesn't give me the option. If any other user clicks on the tab. They will see empty search & kpi containers.

11/12/2020, 5:53 PMThe settings portlet doesn't even need to be on that tab for you to publish that dashboard. It can even be right from the home dashboard. You'll need to make sure you have the "Publish Dashboards" permission. Then from the settings portlet on your home screen you can publish dashboards. From the publish dashboards page you can select which tabs you want to publish dashboards for.

11/12/2020, 5:57 PMFor the users that already have that role that you're trying to publish the dashboard for, make sure to check the box for Override existing user's settings for that role when you publish the dashboard.

11/12/2020, 5:58 PMThank you. I think I was confused because I was thinking.... If I'm on the home page(dashboard). When I would go to "publish dashboard" it wold publish my home page dashboard, to the selected center tab I was selecting.

11/12/2020, 6:01 PMFrom the publish dashboards screen, the tabs that you select for publishing will publish what you have on those dashboards to the roles selected. If you only want that one new tab published for them and not the home dashboard, you can select just that one new tab for publishing. I'd suggest practicing it in sandbox first if it's the first time you're doing it.
