Is there a way to hide all options to email a transaction until it's approved? I was able to hide the Email button itself at the top right. I found a way to hide the Email button under the Communications subtab. But I can't figure out how to remove the Email option when the Create New icon is clicked (beside Actions).

We solved with a status criteria in the advanced pdf template, resulting in an error when you print an unapproved PO.

Does that apply to emailing? If you don't mind, how do you throw an error in the pdf if it's unapproved?

Yes, the email falils to be sent if the template has error in it.
