hey all-Is anyone using search or the report to calculate components of kit items to order? i cant get correct number to populate,

i would say its unusual to group by member item without also grouping by the kit item

<@U5TF1GQ20> i created separate search of the kit items needed for order. this search i shared was created by Eid Baily tech.

that is the list i have of all kit items need it,

if you are trying to recreate a search, you should edit the existing one

what i need is for the search to tell me how many kit items i have on order, and also total of the components needed to fulfill the orders. i dont know how to get to that result.

you should start off with just the kit items on order quantities

then add a column for the member item and quantities

the number of those components you need to order is the kit on order quantity multiplied by the member quantity, use a formula to put that in a column

ensure those number look right, then start using summary columns to do your grouping and summing
