Hi, is it possible to lock the base price so that when you add an item on a transaction and select base price as the price level, you cannot change the rate of the item? Then, if you want to change the rate, you must first select custom as the price level. Now when I use the base price, I can still change the rate after creating the item line.

That is how Base Price price level works by default, I believe. Amount can be edited, but not Rate

Problem is when you click OK and after that you go back to that line, then you can edit the rate even though it is locked in the beginning. We want that it is always locked, even when you go back to it later.

Really? Rate remains locked for me. Even including after record save and edit. Can never edit Rate when Price Level = Base Price

Thats weird. For me it is first grey(not editable). When I click OK and select the line again, it is now white and editable. Could be a setting that I haven't found yet.
