I intend to start using SuiteQL. Is SuiteQL faster that Search ?

I like SuiteQL because I can use SQL query statements which is so much easier than NetSuite’s native query tags.

Be careful... Saved Search works with object model, SuiteQL works with database.... Some data are "calculated" and does not exists in database tables.. But freedom in using multilevel join, aggregate functions, nested select...priceless Don't miss : Analytics datasets. are graphical representation of SuiteQL.. you can build datasets through the UI and later use them in suitesxript

I was watching a presentation from the NetSuite On Air event and the presenter claimed SuiteQL is 100% faster than search. My personal experience with a large query written as both a SuiteQL query and saved search was abut 50 seconds execution time in SuiteQL and 1 min 20 seconds as a saved search.
